Recorded on holidays and weekends, the band chose a village hall in the Forest of Bowland to make this, their debut EP on Barnbox, and it's a little belter. Sharing the space with the Bashall Eaves W.I., and haunted by the voice of a deep-south Evangelist preaching through the amps (he gets a sermon on Hailstorm Waltz), the result is a set of countrified indie gems that run wild with jagged hints of longings, hopes and ideas.
